In July and August every year, the second and third generations of corn borers become a serious threat, especially for late-sown spring and summer corn. For chemical control, you can use either 200 ml of BT emulsion per 667 square meters or 250 ml of an 18% insecticidal suspension diluted in water. After mixing with water, add 5 kg of furnace ash to create granules, which should be sprinkled directly into the corn’s heart to ensure effective pest control.
