New tractor safety precautions

Before putting the new tractor into use, it is essential to complete the following five important steps. These measures are crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the tractor and extending its overall lifespan. First, check and tighten all the connecting parts of the tractor. Even though the tractor has passed factory testing, it may have loosened during transportation. It's important to ensure that all bolts, nuts, and fasteners are securely tightened, especially those related to the steering system, braking system, suspension, and wheels. Second, inspect the fluid levels. This includes checking the fuel tank level, coolant in the radiator, lubricant levels in the transmission and rear axle, and the electrolyte level in the battery. If any of these levels are low, they should be topped up promptly with the appropriate fluids. Third, examine the main oil condition. First, make sure the oil level in the crankcase is not below the minimum mark on the dipstick. Second, assess the oil quality—especially if the tractor was shipped in summer but purchased in winter, or vice versa, you should replace the oil accordingly. Third, adjust the oil filter switch on larger tractors based on the season or temperature. Lastly, some manufacturers add oil to the air filter oil bath before shipping, so it's important to check and refill it after purchase to prevent oil splashing during transport. Fourth, perform a proper running-in process. This involves gradually increasing the engine speed and load over time, allowing the internal components like gears and shafts to wear in properly. The running-in phase plays a critical role in prolonging the life of the tractor’s parts. Skipping this step can lead to premature wear and damage. Finally, ensure all necessary documentation is in order when purchasing a new tractor. Keep the invoice, certificate of conformity, and user manual for at least three months. Also, complete the required procedures with local agricultural machinery departments, tax authorities, and other relevant agencies. Driving without proper registration or license is illegal and poses serious risks. It must be strictly avoided to prevent accidents and protect people’s lives and property.
