The most direct damage caused by the loss of protein structure is that these structural changes of proteins do not function properly and adversely affect the body. Long-term fasting sugar can lead to a long-term maintenance of blood glucose levels in the body at a high level, which will inevitably lead to long-term high levels of insulin secretion, which is detrimental to health.
