How to run in overhauled tractors

After overhauling, the tractor should be worn (tested) before use. Because the surface of the newly assembled or repaired part has processing marks, the assembled components do not cooperate well. If put into use immediately, it is easy to make the friction surface of the part accelerate wear or produce scratches or scratches, and the technical state will soon deteriorate. Through running-in, the friction surface can be gradually grinded and smoothed under the condition of slight wear, prolonging the service life of the machine. At the same time, through the running-in, the quality of the repairs can be further examined and the necessary adjustments and treatments can be made. Running is generally divided into four steps:

1. The uncompressed cold running-in engine is driven by a motor with a speed-changing mechanism at 400-500r/min, running-in for 20min; 800-900r/min, running-in for 20min; 1000-1200r/min, running-in for 20min, for a total of 1h. If the motor has no speed change mechanism, it can be continuously run for about 1 hour at about 1000r/min, and the pulley of the motor can be selected at this speed.

Add lubrication and cooling water before running-in. Cold running lubricants are generally less viscous than normal and can be used with No. 20 oil. During the running-in, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the oil pressure is normal; whether the valve rocker shaft is oiled; and whether the various rotations are flexible. Uninjected cold run-in should be removed.

2. In the case of full compression, the compression cold running-in engine is run-in for 20 min at 600-800 r/min, and run-in for 20 min at 1000-1200 r/min for 40 min. After the cold running-in, the lubricant should be replaced and the lubricating oil should be inspected for metal chips, water droplets, and other impurities. At the same time, the leaks, oil leaks, and air leaks should be carefully checked.

3. No load thermal run-in starts the engine running at 700-800r/min for 5 min, running at 1000-1100r/min for 20 min; running at rated speed for 5 min, for a total of 30 min.

4. Load thermal run-in load refers to the power emitted by the engine at rated speed, which needs to be performed on the dynamometer. The engine is crushed for 10 minutes at 1/4 load; at 1/2 load for 20 minutes; at 3/4 load for 20 minutes; at full load for 5 minutes, for a total of 55 minutes. During the load running-in process, check whether the oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, and diesel pressure are normal values. If it is not normal, it indicates that the locomotive still has certain problems and needs further debugging. If there is insufficient power or other malfunction, it must be repaired.

After the running-in, you should also do the following work:

1. The gear oil in the gearbox, rear axle, and final transmission box is warmly discharged, injected into diesel for cleaning, then the diesel is discharged, and the iron foam on the oil plug and the magnet is removed, and the new gear oil is replaced.

2. The oil in the oil pan is released hot, the lubrication system is cleaned with diesel oil, and the new oil is replaced.

3. Release the engine oil in the starter drive mechanism, steering gear housing, and hydraulic oil tank, and use the diesel oil to replace the engine oil.

4. Lubricate the injection pump, governor, and lubrication points according to the lubrication table.

5. Check valve clearance adjustment and tighten cylinder head bolts.

6. Clean the air cleaner filter with diesel oil and replace the oil in the oil pan.

7. Check the clearance of the clutch and brake, eliminate the leakage, leakage, and leakage of air in all parts, and check and tighten the bolts in various places.
