Application of livestock manure "hot and cold" is different

Livestock manure means pigs, cattle, horses, sheep and other domestic animals and chickens, ducks, geese and other poultry excrement. Livestock manure is rich in organic matter and nutrient elements and is a good organic fertilizer. Because of the different sources of food for livestock and poultry, the manure has “hot and cold”, and it must be treated differently and reasonably during production.

Pig manure is rich in nutrients, with the highest potassium content. Nitrogen and phosphorus content is second only to sheep manure. The fertilizer is soft and has strong stamina. It is a warm fertilizer and is suitable for various crops and soils. The texture of pig manure is finer, ammoniated bacteria are more, easy to decompose, and the fertilizer efficiency is quick, which is conducive to the formation of humus. The effect of soil reform is good. The decomposed pig manure can be used in paddy fields and can be used as base fertilizer or top dressing.

Cow dung has fine texture, high moisture content, poor ventilation, slow decomposing, slow fertilizer effect, low fermentation temperature, and belongs to cold fertilizer. In order to accelerate the decomposition, fresh cow dung can be dried slightly, and horse dung or sheep dung can be mixed and stacked to obtain loose and high-quality fertilizer. Such as mixed with calcium magnesium phosphate or phosphate rock, fertilizer quality is higher. Cow dung has high carbon content, low nitrogen content, and a large carbon-nitrogen ratio. Attention should be paid to the use of available nitrogen fertilizers during application in order to prevent microorganisms from competing with crops for fertilizer decomposition. Cow manure is generally only used as base fertilizer.

Horse manure has high fiber content, thick manure, loose pores, easy evaporation of water, low water content, rapid decomposing, large heat generation and high temperature in the process of accumulation, and is a thermal fertilizer. For nursery breeding, the effect of fever is better than pig dung. When composting, adding appropriate amount of horse dung can promote compost maturity. Due to the coarse texture of horse dung, it is particularly suitable for viscous soils and can be used as a modifier for viscous soils.

Sheep manure contains higher nitrogen, calcium and magnesium. Sheep feces fever feces between horse dung and cow dung, suitable for all types of soil and all kinds of crops, the effect of increasing production, after maturity can be used as base fertilizer, top dressing and seed fertilizer.

Rabbit manure nitrogen and phosphorus content is relatively high, potassium content is relatively low. The fecal carbon-nitrogen ratio is small, easily perishable, and decomposition is quicker in the applied soil. It is a thermal fertilizer, and it is best applied in phosphorus-deficient soil.

The nutrient content of poultry manure is higher than that of livestock manure, and the poultry manure has the highest nutrient content of chicken manure. Poultry manure decomposition process is easy to produce high temperature, is a thermal fertilizer. Poultry excrement can easily incur underground pests, and uric acid nitrogen cannot be directly absorbed and utilized by crops and must be fully decomposed before application. Poultry manure is best used as top dressing.
