Eat four foods in winter easy to poison

In winter, some foods are extremely toxic due to long storage or other reasons. People eat these foods and are prone to food poisoning. Therefore, we must pay special attention to the daily diet. The following four kinds of foods cannot be eaten.

1. Rotten cabbage. The leaves of Chinese cabbage contain more nitrates, which will increase significantly after rot. Once a large amount of food is eaten, it will be reduced to nitrite and poisoned by the action of gastrointestinal bacteria. Mainly manifested as dizziness, vomiting, etc., severe breathing difficulties, blood pressure decreased. To prevent poisoning, avoid long-term storage of vegetables at high temperatures.

2, raw milk. It contains a toxic trypsin inhibitor that is easily poisoned after drinking. Therefore, soy milk must be thoroughly cooked before drinking. What needs to be reminded is that when milk is heated to a certain level, foam will appear. This does not mean that it has been cooked. It should continue to heat for 5-10 minutes until the foam disappears.

3. Germinated or immature potatoes. It contains toxic substances solanine, which can cause poisoning after ingestion. In winter, the potatoes should be stored at low temperature and without direct sunlight; when cooking, a little vinegar can be added to destroy the toxins.

4, mildew sugar cane. The toxicity is very strong. After eating 2-8 hours, symptoms such as vomiting, dizziness, headache and visual disturbance will appear. In severe cases, there will be coma and respiratory failure, and the mortality rate and sequelae rate will reach 50%. Currently, there is no effective treatment measure. .

When suspected food poisoning is found, it should be sent to the hospital as soon as possible, and at the same time, the suspicious food, the patient's vomiting and excrement should be seen by the doctor. Try to induce vomiting on the way to the hospital to reduce the absorption of toxins by pressing the tongue with your finger or spoon and causing the patient to vomit. When vomiting, the patient should face down and head down to prevent vomit blocking the airway. At the same time, remember that conscious patients must not induce vomiting.
