Early spring cow milk five points

First, keep proper temperature. The critical temperature required for dairy cows to produce milk is 20 degrees. In addition to raising cows with warm sheds, it is very difficult to reach this temperature in early spring, but at the very least, the temperature should be kept at 10 degrees.

Second, ensure comprehensive nutrition. In the spring, on the basis of feeding cows with hay or silage, the nutritional level of dairy cows should also be appropriately increased. Reference feed formula: cornmeal 50%, soybean cake 30%, bran 10%, fat 3%, salt 1.5%, bone meal 2%, baking soda 1.5%, promote milk premix 2%. If there is no green feed, 3-5 kg of chopped carrots, potatoes, or fresh Chinese cabbage must be fed daily. On the basis of the normal milk production of dairy cows, milk cows should be fed with 1 to 1.5 kg of mixed concentrate per 3 kg of milk produced.

Third, supply plenty of warm water. In the spring, especially in early spring, if dairy cows drink cold water, cows will consume a lot of body heat and reduce milk production. Insufficient drinking water will also cause some diseases in dairy cows. Therefore, we should pay attention to the amount of warm water around 16 degrees in the spring.

Fourth, keep the sanitation and hygiene. Dry dairy cows are conducive to insulation. Therefore, the cowshed must be cushioned, dug hay, remove excrement in time, and often sprinkle lime powder or ash in the house. This will not only reduce the humidity in the dairy house, but also can prevent and cure the disease.

Fifth, adhere to the sun movement. In fine weather, the cows should be allowed to exercise for at least 2 hours every day, and then they should be led to the sun in the leeward place to strengthen the blood circulation of the cows, kill the pathogenic bacteria of the cows, help and promote the digestion of cows, and improve the Constitution and milk production.
