The role of the sensor protection tube

The armored thermocouple is a solid combination of thermocouple wire, insulating material and metal protection tube after being assembled and stretched. It has good anti-oxidation effect, anti-low temperature condensation and anti-mechanical impact. It has the advantages of bending, high pressure resistance, fast thermal response time and durability. Armored thermocouples are usually used in conjunction with display instruments, recording instruments, and electronic computers. Direct measurement of liquid, vapor and gaseous media and solid surface temperatures in the range of 0 °C - 1300 °C in various production processes.

(1) It has bendability, and the armored thermal resistor can be bent in any direction except for the head, so it is suitable for the construction of a relatively complicated temperature.

(2) Armored thermocouples have good resistance to vibration and impact. Therefore, its thermal resistance life is longer than ordinary thermal resistance. The thermal resistance should pay attention to the following matters when it is used.

(3) The armored thermocouple has a long service life. Due to the twisted cover of the iron insulation material and the maintenance of the metal sleeve, the thermal resistance wire is not easily eroded by the harmful medium.

(4) Explosion-proof thermal resistance The explosion of the explosive mixture inside the casing due to the influence of spark or arc is limited to the junction box through a special-structure junction box.

(5) The production site will not lead to an explosion. Explosion-proof thermal resistors can be used for temperature measurement in explosion-proof locations in the Bla--B3c class. The anti-corrosion thermal resistance is made of PTFE anti-corrosion material.

(6) As a whole protective sleeve or two-section casing, it can also be used as anti-corrosion treatment of the material directly on the protection tube, which is divided into three forms: spraying, sintering and casing sealing.

(7) It is suitable for measurement in corrosive medium of strong alkali, temperature resistance is 250 °C, and the fixed thread of the same PTFE material can also be used for fixed installation situation.

(8) According to the measurement temperature range and side quantity object, select the appropriate type, specification and maintenance tube data of the thermal resistance.
