Sino-US research and development of nano vaccines against armor

Chinese and American researchers have teamed up to develop a nanoparticle flu vaccine that is effective against influenza A in mouse experiments. This vaccine has opened up new ideas for the development of drugs such as the universal influenza vaccine.

A recent study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that the particles are composed of bilayer polypeptides that mimic the influenza virus to emit biological signals that induce a double immune response. After vaccination, mice infected with multiple influenza A viruses survived completely, while mice vaccinated with placebo died within a week.

In the experiment, the vaccine was not inoculated using conventional intramuscular injection methods, but instead was inoculated on the skin using a soluble microneedle patch. The researchers say the method of administration is more potent and lasts longer. (According to Xinhua News Agency reporter Zhou Zhou)
