According to the Belarusian Minister of Agriculture and Food, Belarus is expected to export 100,000 tons of rye flour and 50,000 tons of wheat flour this year. Belarus also plans to export 15,000 tons of barley and 8,000 tons of oats.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus is expected to grow no less than 27,000 tons of buckwheat, which is sufficient to meet domestic demand.
At present, Belarus does not plan to export buckwheat. Belarus has never been a major buckwheat exporter.
Belarus plans to acquire 2 to 3 million tons of high-gluten wheat for the production of pasta.
