What are the rice planting seasons in China?

According to the rice planting season, they can be divided into single-crop rice and double-crop rice (repeated rice) in terms of production. The rice planted in the first season of double-season rice is called early rice, and the rice planted in the second season is called late rice. Single-season rice, also known as middle rice, grows one season of rice in the same paddy field every year. In the northern region, only one season of rice can be cultivated under the influence of temperature, that is, single-season rice. In the southern region, the temperature is high and the caloric resources are abundant. It can be planted for one season or planted for two seasons. According to different regions, the single-crop rice varieties can be conventional rice and hybrid rice, and can also be japonica rice and japonica rice. In continuous cropping rice, the early rice varieties had strong temperature sensitivity and weak photosensitivity. Late rice varieties had weak temperature sensitivity and strong photosensitivity. In the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, continuous cropping rice, early rice are japonica rice, and late rice has japonica rice and japonica rice. Early rice and late rice in South China are japonica rice. For late rice cultivation in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, for example, early rice cultivation, early spring seeding, but only when the short-sunshine conditions are met in the autumn, young spike differentiation and flowering and maturation can be carried out, and the growth period is significantly prolonged. Therefore, the japonica rice used in late rice can only be planted as single-season late rice or continuous cropping late rice, but not as early rice. Early-season rice cultivars, due to their weak photosensitivity, can both head for summer long-day conditions and heading for short-day conditions in the fall, so they can be used for both early rice cultivation and late rice cultivation. When planting in autumn, the early growth period is in a high temperature environment, the growth and development process is accelerated, the growth period is shortened, the maturity period is earlier, and the yield is reduced.

Hot-dip galvanization is a form of galvanization. It is the process of coating iron and steel with zinc, which alloys with the surface of the base metal when immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 840 °F (449 °C). When exposed to the atmosphere, the pure zinc (Zn) reacts with oxygen (O2) to form zinc oxide (ZnO), which further reacts with carbon dioxide (CO2) to form zinc carbonate (ZnCO3), a usually dull grey, fairly strong material that protects the steel underneath from further corrosion in many circumstances. Galvanized steel is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is needed without the cost of stainless steel, and is considered superior in terms of cost and life-cycle.
