The stems and branches of Yang are the sites of rotten skin disease. There are two types of dry rot and dry shoots. In the later period, small black papules appeared on the lesion, which was a conidia of the pathogen. When the humidity of the air increases, curled, orange-colored filaments can grow from the small dark spots of the lesion, which is the conidial horn. After the lesion progressed to one week, all the branches above the lesion died.

The disease usually begins in mid-and late-March, and is the disease-prone period from May to June. The disease was reduced in July and stopped in September. In general, silver poplar and Populus euphratica are resistant to disease, and most of the fast-growing poplars promoted in recent years are susceptible. Increasing the growth of trees and increasing the resistance of trees is the fundamental way to prevent and treat this disease. Control methods: (1) Select the appropriate soil and variety when planting, so that appropriate trees are suitable. (2) Cultivate strong seedlings. Cuttings should be stored at 2.7°C and in a large cold place, so as not to reduce the vitality of the cuttings, to avoid long-distance transportation of seedlings, serious prosthesis, and to dig the roots for more than 24 hours before the afforestation or to remove the mud. (3) Care management after planting, prevention and control of stem pests, reasonable pruning does not leave stubs. Pruning should be done in the winter to avoid pruning in the rainy season. (4) The poplar trees with severe susceptibility should be promptly removed and the severely infected stands should be completely removed so as to avoid the formation of new sources of infection and infecting more area of ​​forest. (5) Plants or stands with lighter susceptibility should be treated with a knife to scrape off the lesions while strengthening management and increasing the growth potential of the trees. They should then be sprayed to dry or dry. The optional chemical agent is 10 times the edible alkaline water, or 20% of the agricultural anti-120 water agent 10 times, 50 times 40% of the United States arsenic, 50% of the 100 times tetrazine, 5% thiophanate, carbendazim, etc. Apply 2 to 3 times.
